Services for Children
Scholarships: Gave 3 college scholarships for a total of $9,000.
Key Club: Provided $3,000 for leadership training.
Boys and Girls Club: Gave $1,500 in funding support.
Family Builder Activities: Sponsored family friendly events
serving over 400 families and youth. * Halloween Carnival * Santa's Workshop * Youth Bike Fest
Teen Christmas: purchased over $1,000 in gifts for needy teens.
Food4Kids Program: contributed over $4,250 for program
and over 100 hours as volunteers.
Sail Kingston Cove(Youth Sailing Program): Funded $3,000 in scholarships.
School Supplies Drive: Managed 2023 program, including
purchase of backpacks and supplies for students in need totaling
over $9,000 and donated $2,000 in clothing supplies to schools.
Instruments in the Park: Purchased and installed second
phase of musical instruments in the Village Green Park playground
and $3,540 for a memorial bench on the Green.
NK Schools Foundation: Donated $6,100 in memory of Dick
and Judy Osborn for special needs students
Community Service
Food Drives: Held two food drives totaling over
2,600 pounds and $3,992.
Village Green: Provided volunteers for board and front desk
greeters; contributed to "Pie in the Park" fundraiser.
Kingston Citizens Advisory Committee: Representative on committee.
Community Meal: Provided meal for
125 people with food insecurity.
Summer Concerts: Donated $1,000
for Summer Concerts in the Park Series.
Kingston 4th of July: Contributed $2,000 and numerous
volunteer hours to the annual celebration, including Tiny Town.
Major Fundraising Events
All fundraising supports Kiwanis community & youth projects.
Annual Brew Fest: Benefit concert and Brew Fest.
Berry Sales: Sale of fresh blueberries.
Salmon Slam: Raise-the-paddle funding event.
Coho Fishing Derby: Fishing contest and sponsorships.
